📱 Mobile

Download the app

Please use download.anytype.io to download the most recent version of the app.

{% hint style="warning" %} The iOS app is temporarily available via App Store only for EU accounts. If you are in a different region, please use the TestFlight link to get the app. {% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %} To download Anytype for iPad, simply click the iOS link and follow the instructions for installing TestFlight to use the iPad Anytype Alpha version. {% endhint %}

Log in using the QR code

To log in using the QR code, simply navigate to your recovery phrase.

Settings > Recovery Phrase.

Underneath your recovery phrase you'll find your blurred out QR code, when you click the image it will display.

Now you can scan this code with your mobile device and install the app.

In addition to using the QR code to log in, you can also install and log in the traditional way.

Install the app.

Enter your recovery phrase.

Log in and type away!

Widgets

Organizing your widgets

When you open up Anytype on your mobile device you will see your current Widgets along with 3 navigation options at the bottom.

Your widgets are customizable in the same way they are in the sidebar of your desktop application.

To edit and move around your widgets: scroll to the bottom of the list, underneath the Bin you'll find "Edit Widgets"

When you click the button, you'll see a small grey minus sign on the corner of each block. Now you can delete, add, or rearrange your widgets.

Using Widgets

The best way to customize and optimize your mobile usage of Anytype, widgets are your best friend.

Setting up your widgets for mobile allows you to create quick access and manage your preferred objects to visit.

Add specific objects to the top for quick access.

Add sets to your widgets, like task managers for a quick view of what's next to do.

Navigation

On your mobile device the navigation using a minimalistic design.

The 3 options you have are; Search, New object, and Profile.

Search - Browse your recent objects, search for a specific object.

New Object - Create a new object, page, note, etc.

Profile - Investigate your profile, account, settings, etc.

Personalize

Click on the button on the far right of your bottom-screen navigation.

This will open up your Settings and Account info.

You can personalize the space with an emoji of your choice, or a photo that you upload.

Change the name of your space just below under Space name.

Change the name and image of your account profile just below in Account & Data.
