Customization

Preferences

Select your default object type and you'll have the option to choose from any of the default types, types you've created, or create a new type.

This defines the type of object that opens up when you create a new object (hitting the plus sign).

Just below you have the choice to select your spellcheck language. This is helpful if you're writing in a specific language.

If you've been writing and haven't seen spellcheck, this may be why.

Appearance

This is for the dark mode users out there.

Set your color mode; light, dark, or system.

Toggle automatically showing the side bar or not.
